UASC container orders were finally concluded this month when 8x13,000 teu container vessels were contracted at Samsung.
The freight rates for large crude carriers are hitting new highs almost every day, which in turns have led to increased interest
for VLCC?s and Suezmax newbuildings. The largest order this month was seen from Greek company, Omniblue, which
ordered 9 Suezmax tankers from Hyundai.
