In an increasingly competitive market, the RS Platou dry cargo department has chosen to focus strongly upon servicing close customers, whether they be owners, charterers or operators. Specifically, this means we are concentrating our services towards the forest products industry world-wide, together with the fertiliser and cement industries in our region, in addition to servicing RS Platou's long-term shipowner clients.

We firmly believe that the ocean transportation industry is in need of good chartering and operations expertise. We feel that our dry cargo department, in close cooperation with our economic research department, with our good mixture of youthful energy and long experience, is well positioned to provide such a service.
