RS Platou Markets decided to open an office in Singapore in early 2009 to offer full-range investment banking services to clients in the Asian shipping, oil service, offshore and oil exploration and production (E&P) sectors. Backed by the history and deep industry knowledge of our ship- and offshore broking parent RS Platou, we aim to build the “best in class” investment bank within the shipping, offshore, and oil E&P sectors. We also intend to benefit from synergies with our sister firm RS Platou Finance, which specializes in structured finance for shipping and offshore companies.
